The very first time I saw You at just six weeks old I knew that one day you would be mine. Your tiny baby paws wrapped around my neck and I gently took them away and returned you to your owner. I was still grieving the two year loss of my first baby Zoykara Bo and my heart was with her still.
You spent many happy days with your “Auntie Rose” until I eventually became your “Auntie Mum”. When you reached three years your human Dad did forsake you and I became your mum.
There was soon a sister Jessie for you also forsaken by her human. She was exactly four months younger than you and for five brief years you were together. Even your litter sister joined us for six months and the Joy that the three of you created ….. then Jessie passed very prematurely.
Middy you gave me 18 years of Your pure Love. You were always so strong and healthy and happy!
You were my Constant during good times and bad.
Now the floors are empty and silent.
All of my children are gone.
Bo and Jessie and Middy were the Lights in My Life
….. Now there is darkness.
Middy – Play with your Sisters and be young and free of all cares.
Until we All meet at the Rainbow Bridge to be together again.
