Missy,
You came to me broken, sad and sick but I saw your beauty and loved you from the first moment. The short time we had together was pure happiness and you knew love. Maybe, God lent you to me so that I would know how pure and wonderful love can be when it is unconditional and freely given. I loved you and I thank God that you didn’t have to die in that awful shelter alone and ill. I’m glad your hair grew back so you could know how beautiful you were even though it didn’t matter to me. I’m glad you were able to enjoy car rides, walks and warm baths.
I’m glad you got to know that you were “special.” Our last day was spent like you liked it with just you and me looking at the animal channel. I will miss you, baby, very much but I’m glad you had a peaceful transition.
Love you forever,
