There’s no words to convey
The emptiness I feel since
You’ve gone away.
It’s been too long since
You’ve gone away.

And nothing much else has changed.
The simple things keep happening
As the minutes flutter by like they
Travel by feathery wings,
And the air hits them one by one
And I think of you.

Thank you for being there for me the last 22 years. We grew up together through good times and the bad. You will always be my best friend. Stay close to your sister Candy, and brother Rusty. We’ll be together again.
