My sweet baby JD,
I just want you to know that I have loved you from the moment you came into my life. You were my loyal faithful guardian, and my best friend. I know God gave you to me as a gift to help me through some tough times. You helped me through it, and gave me the courage and strength to move on. I know you protected me and Casey and watched over our home. You were the sweetest dog and a gentle soul.
I know you stayed with me as long as you could, and I watched you go into old age with grace and dignity. I knew it was time to let you go and be with God and Casey, and although it was so very difficult for me to do, I had to send you on your way to a peaceful life in Heaven. That was my gift to you.
God bless you so much. You will always be in my heart. I will see you and Casey up there some day.
