Pepper by Carolyn / Mommy

What can I say, Beautiful Blue Eyes, my Girl with the long beautiful Las Vegas Girl legs. You stood tall from within and it showed without. Your grace, your wisdom, your elegance. Even your intelligence was written all over you, an intelligence expressed at all times, far surpassing ours, except like us when you had your “bump your head on the table” moments which made you all the more endearing. We’d often gaze at you in amazement, wondering where the dignity, not from stance or pose, had grown from. But we knew; it came from God. It had blossomed
by the time you came to us.

You had such a hard life before we took you home & I’m sorry for that. Some humans don’t know any better. But of course we know you would rise above
that sooner than we would.

All the days & nights you let us look into those blue eyes & you into ours was such a gift. Thank you for coming to our home. I could never forget your face,
your love, your partnership.

I miss our walks. Moosie misses his playmate. Rosebud even misses her rival beauty. And Karma misses the friend who used to chase her cat tail around the house & nip at her fur. She looks for you when I say your name. And Bob & I miss you most of all. I’m glad you let me know what I needed to know, coming to me without apology in my meditation. Now you are free of all leashes, free to be the spirit you truly are & I can’t think of a better song to say “I Love You”, my beautiful, beautiful Queen. Be free. Be in all your glory & all your magnificence. Be joyful my sweet Pepper. You will always have love &
we will always be here for you.

A Big Hug & a Kiss,
Pepper
