" Spike " { Poopoo }
June 1998 ----- May 2000
Dachshund
My parents were the owners of beautiful Spike
He was a Dachshund he was the love of my step father`s life .
My mother works night shift and Spike was the only one home when
my step dad got home .. He just loved him .
He was more like a person. In March of 2000 Spike was hit by a car .
This was so heart breaking because we could not find him afterwards .
We finally did find him the next day Alive and I rushed over and
we took him to the vet . He had a bad broken leg .
The Vet said he looked good and that the leg could be repaired.
We were so happy . My step dad was going through so much pain
his daughter was very ill with cancer and he needed his "Poopoo".
Before they did Surgery . The vet informed us That Spike had heart worms .
He said the leg needed to be fixed first and a pin left in for Two months .
Spike did very well . His leg heeled and looked great .
In the mean time My Step dads daughter passed and it was a very hard
time for him "Poopoo" was there for him and helped him through
this painful time .
We took Spike back to the Vet May 17 2000 to have the pin
removed and to get his heart worms taken care of .
Spike did good that day the treatment went well .
On the 18th I called to see when I could pick him up and the Vet told
me he had just passed away ..
The heart break will never ever go away and the time we
had with Spike will never be for gotten
He was there for my step dad during the worse time in his life
and I know he will never forget this..
So I just wanted to say:
We all Love and Miss you Poopoo..
