Rooney was the best hamster I ever had! In school, she was our class pet that someone brought in. At the end of the year, no one wanted this little angel except me, so I got her. Time passed and I noticed what a sweetheart she was more and more daily. So I got a male hamster and 2 weeks later, Rooney became pregnant!! After awhile, she delivered 10 healthy babies!!! Each went to a good home! What a great mommy she was! So tolerant, so loving. 5 months later, Rooney passed away due to old age.
She was old for a hamster, a previous-school owned hamster that had been touched, hugged, held and once got lost in my HUGE school! I love Rooney and
I’ll never forget her.
