Sandy was the best dog ever. She was gentle and happy and a good companion. She was so good even with all the grandkids around her. She loved attention and liked to have everyone pet her. If you didn’t notice her she would bump you with her nose or slap you with her paw. She loved going up north and hunting and swimming in the stream. She also loved to ride on the atv’s. No matter how tired she was she would want to go with us. We finally had to make the hard decision to put her to sleep. I had taken her to the vet for her regular check up and found out she had bladder cancer. We had surgery done to try to save her. She just was not the same after the surgery. Things happened so fast from the time we found out about the cancer to the time we had to let her go. A matter of a couple of weeks. Sandy is greatly missed. She was my little buddy. Sandy was 13 years old. I hope God watches over Sandy in her after life. She truly was an angel of a dog.
