Shaze came into my life in February of 1988 when I adopted her from the Houston SPCA. She was the most well behaved puppy that went every where with me, even to work. As time passed and situations changed she moved to Hollywood with me and hiked the trails near the Hollywood sign.
We returned to Houston and I met my husband, Rick. Then we moved to Austin for a year and then back to Houston. So my sweet Shaze was quite the well traveled dog. Shaze was like mine & Rick’s child we fussed over her and made sure she had the best of everything. She was wise beyond her years and was our constant companion. When the end came she faced it like she faced everything else,
with the total bravery.
Our hearts are broken and will never heal and we feel lost without her. I wish that everyone is blessed at least once in their lifetime to know a companion as wonderful as Shaze. Shaze leaves behind her sister (as far as we’re concerned) Pepper who also misses her more than words can say. But we know Shaze is in a better place, young again and able to walk and run and play. And we will see her again one day.
We miss you more than
you'll ever know baby,
| Shaze |
