For 10 years our Golden bear. You came to us from we knew not where put in our yard by a neighbor thinking you were our Amber. No owner was to be found and we gave you to a friend but Amber missed her new pal so much that we begged for your return. You brought me my slippers on cold mornings sensed my every mood comforted me when I was blue cuddled with me mornings in bed and loved to take rides in the car. I am still looking for you under your bush in the yard or waiting for you to amble into the bedroom in the mornings for our snuggle time.
You were a true and cherished friend. We could not stand to see you suffer the indignities of infirmity caused by the tumor on your spine or see the sadness in your eyes so we sent you with all of our love to join Amber at the Rainbow Bridge where we know you are well again and playing with your “sister” again. Tell her we still miss her as we sorely miss you. Perhaps you will send us another Golden boy to love as I believe Amber sent Jasmine to fill the void that she left.
