My handsome baby cat…He has graced my life for so many years, and saddly lost his battle with liver cancer. My precious boy is sleeping now. He gave me 13 years of joy and company. His ears were often the first things to catch my tears. In the end I held him in my arms and let him go softly to sleep with all the comfort, dignity, and compasion I could provide him. I miss him and am grateful for everything he gave over the years. I consider myself very lucky. Lucky to have known love unconditional, lucky to have been blessed with so much joy, lucky that I was able to be his last memory, and lucky that I gave him all of my heart just as he gave his. Someday we will cross the bridge together.
