Winston was a healthy and handsome Shih Tzu that loved life and everyone around him. He went everywhere with me and truly was my best friend. I adopted Winston from a lady that was unable to take care of him. He was 15 months old then. I am so glad that I adopted him. He made everyone happy, he truly was a blessing.
One June 25, we noticed that Winston did not act like himself. Him seemed really tired. We took him to vet and on June 27 he was diagnosed with AIHA. I knew my baby was sick but I never dreamed that he would die so young. Up until that Monday he seemed like a healthy baby boy. He started taking steroids and iron supplement immediately. He become really sick Monday morning and we had the vet on the way to the clinic but he passed away before she could get there. He fought for his life until the very end. He really loved life.
I am still in shock that my baby is really gone. He was so special to all of us. I feel so blessed to have him as long as I did. He truly was my best friend and I will cherish our memories forever.
