I remember just seeing you this morning
before I went of for school.
You waiting outside my bedroom door
all night long until I left my room.
You rubbing against my legs and feet
looking up at me with your silent meow.
I cannot believe that 5 hours later
you're gone just like that.
I am pleased however to know that
when the angels came to take you
they took you while you were sleeping
so you wouldn't have to suffer.
You were brought to me nearly
4 years ago to help cheer me up and
it's all you've done ever since.
I won't forgot how happy
you made me and my family.
You filled a void in our lives
by bringing back that missing piece- joy.
I saw you as a child my child.
I love you and will miss you always.
