This is my first Christmas without you.
I put your stocking
under the tree with mine.
I can still see you
putting your nose into it
trying to pull
out the goodies I bought you.
Sometimes I can still hear the pitter-patter
of your footsteps
coming into the bedroom
to snuggle on the bed with me.
