how blessed I was when God brought you into my life and
how happy I was to save yours.
Remember how I snuck you into my college dormitory
for four months before you were expelled?
Thankfully Grandpa and Grandma were wonderful
understanding parents and happily
agreed to let you live with them.
Even though I never had the opportunity
to have you live with me
I loved you so much and always considered you as "Mine."
And you were so loved by Grandpa and Grandma
that it would have hurt them to let you go!
You were the best-natured and loving companion
always happy and eager to please!
Thank you for your
everlasting friendship and unconditional desire
to bring happiness into our lives.
Even though you were so sick with cancer
you never complained.
Grandpa tried everything possible to make you better.
You were one of the first patients in Missouri to undergo
the new laser treatments and the research from those treatments
was later taken abroad and introduced.
"Case" you were not only special and precious
to Grandpa Grandma and me you also meant the world to
those you provided the hope for a cure to a dreaded disease.
I know other pets sincerely thank you for prolonging their lives.
I'm sure you have united
with my beloved Sampson
who joined you on March 21 2000
and I know we will all meet again Beyond Life's Gateway.
I look forward having you greet me with your precious
sloppy kisses and happy wagging tail.
Thank you for bringing such joy to my life.
