My sylvester was a wonderfule cat he had many
different personalities that made him special.
There will never be another cat that could even come
close to him. When I would come home from work,
I never had to look for him he heard my voice and
he would come and find me and insist on my sitting
down and paying some attention to him just 5 or
10 minutes was all that he wanted.
I miss him terribly.
He lost his battle with diabetes in September of 1997.
I didn't know that he had this disease until it had
progressed so much that he couldn't tolerate
insulin treatments the vet didn't think he had more
than a couple of weeks left from time of diagnosis,
she suggested that I take him home and
take care of him the best I could My Sylvester lived
an additional 3 months under my loving care he just wasn't
ready to go. Even to the end he fought death.
I gave him my permission to go was the hardest thing
I have ever done. But now he is out of his pain
but I still and always will miss him
he was like one of my children.
