Dog
Mitch - I rescued from the humane shelter
and enjoyed your companionship for two years and
then lent you to another when she lost her last dog and
felt she was too old to get another - she wanted to be sure that
the dog would have a home to return to.
You gave her great joy for four years and you died trying
to protect her when she was murdered in her home.
Your body was found beside her with her hand on your head.
May you stay with her in heaven and
we will meet again.
