Today was a very hard day for us your family.
We made a decision
that we had hoped we would never have to make.
Who's going to be at the back door now
to greet us as we come in?
Who's going to eat Casey's food?
Who's going to take up all the space on the couch?
We are going to miss you so much,
but it would have been selfish of us
to make you suffer one more day.
