Cat
I met Bo
when he was 18 months old and belonged
to a good friend of mine.
When my friend was no
longer able to keep Bo where he lived
I gladly adopted Bo.
Bo was solid white
with one blue eye and one green eye and
was deaf from birth.
He was definately the ruler of the house
and our house has always been a large menagerie of pets!
He was very fiesty and intelligent
and clearly understood
many hand signs and facial expressions.
He would sometimes meow very loudly
to get attention especially if
we were out of visual range.
Even in his last few months of declining health
he was the king of the household
and all the others respected him until the end.
We had him put to sleep to end his misery
as Bo tried hard to hang in there
for our benefit.
A few weeks after his passing
we took in a lttle kitten
who had been abandoned by his owners
as they moved away.
We feel covinced
that Bo's spirit moved into little Chester
as soon as he joined our household.
Chester's movements attitude "vocabulary".
and general demeanor
are so like the young Bo
it is hard to believe otherwise.
We feel blessed
to have the little Chester with us
as though Bo continues
in living form as well as
a cherished memory in our hearts.
