Elmoe you are not forgotten.
You brought our family so much joy and love.
You were such a mild-mannered pet--
always patient and undemanding
(except for when it came to begging for bits of food
and that was our fault because we got you into that bad habit).
We/l knew some day we would miss this annoying part of you
and that day is here.
We/l look at your pictures and
can't believe you are no longer here.
It has been almost three weeks
but it seems an eternity.
Freddie misses you too.
He's very lonely without you.
When we went to pick up your "cremains"
we took Freddie with us to the vet's office.
We think Freddie was hoping we were getting you back
and he was very sad on the way home
when you didn't show up.
We/I hope you are happy and out of pain where you are now.
Rest assured
you are forever in our hearts and memories!!
