"Buttons & Bobbie" Rat Terriers
Our 'first' Rat Terriers.

was brought home
in my husbands shirt pocket
for my Valentines present.
Bobbie
we got the morning that our home burnt
to the ground in the evening
but we got our beloved pets out.
Years later one at a time
they just didn't come home one night.
I felt they didn't want us to find their lifeless bodies
when they were called to 'Doggie Heaven'.
Bless their little hearts.
We still miss them.
They have been gone near 15 years now.
