Shadow joined our family in late August of 1993.
He had been dumped off near our home in the country
and from his behavior it was clear he had suffered abuse.
Shadow and I developed a bond. While he appeared to love
everyone in the family he was clearly devoted to me and
he enriched my life. Words can not describe the
love I STILL hold for him even now 20 months later.
He passed away after being poisoned by antifreeze.
A dog so loyal and loving deserved better.
We have other dogs now but none will ever equal
Shadow in my heart.
