Although you didnt belong to me Jute-
Jute kitty you were a very special kitty.
The night I moved in to my house.
you sat on my porch and sang to me.
I heard you and came out to see you sitting there and
you meowed at me as if to say
welcome to the neighborhood.
You let me pet you and
then you went home to Bob your real human.
The morning I found you lying
on the side of the road
after someone had not taken
the time to let you cross
the road even though you didnt belong to me
my heart was broken.
I picked you up and brought you home
to Bob so you could be properly laid to rest.
I'll miss you Jute -Jute Kitty
