Dudley,

I took you in when you were abandoned and alone.

You love me and gave me your special hugs.

We kept each other company and spent 12 wonderful years together.

When the time came for you to go I made a difficult decision.

I knew I had to do what was best for you.

My heart said to hold on but I had to let you go.

I held you in my arms and kissed your head as we said good-bye.

We both knew it was time.

Thank you Dudley for being a part of my life.

Thank you for loving me unconditionally.

We will see each other again someday.

Until then I'll hold you in my heart and in my dreams.

Our love is forever and cannot be diminished by separate worlds.
