In Memory of my sweet Self Chocolate Guinea Pig "Moment"
and her sisters who were never named.
I remember the day you were born.
I was worried because your father was your mother's brother.
It was totally unexpected and I was expecting you to have deformities.
You had two sisters one of which was dead at birth.
I spent so long trying to revive her but in vain.
You and your sister were very small and it was obvious that there
was something not quite right.
Your eyes were always clogged up with pus but you never complained.
The day your sister passed away I found you snuggled up to her
desperately trying to seek warmth from her cold and lifeless body.
You adored each other and her death made you pine for her
until two days later when you were reunited with your beloved sister,
and also your other sibling who you never knew.
Rest in peace Moment. You have earned it. xxx
