I was given two years to spend with Jami the most special years of my life. Jami was the most beautiful dog I’ve ever known. I can still see her bounding across the backyard like a deer full of energy and lust for life. There was something about her she made eye contact when I was talking to her and I felt like she understood what I was saying. She had beautiful blonde fur and intelligent and mischievous brown eyes. She had a wonderful long full tail that I would curl around my finger around when she was sitting beside me. She had the longest legs I had ever seen on a dog of her size. My mom said she needed high heels and fish net stockings for those legs.
She was my confidante and my pillow my best friend and never a critic. She loved me for who I am and I will always love her for that. She spent such a fraction of my life with me here on earth but she affected it the most.
