Mama Kitty

Mama Kitty adopted us in 1984. She was a stray cat maybe 3 yrs. old at the time. She was one of a few cats we would feed and she brought her litter of 4 kittens up a wall to our balcony. This was in the month of August so it was hot and she brought them up one at a time. When I got home from work my sister was bringing the little ones in as Mama looked on. She totally trusted us & we took care of them. She was such a good mother and would stare at us and purr saying Thank you! When the youngsters were old enough we found them good homes and kept her and had her fixed. She prefered to stay inside from then on which was fine. She was such a good cat never got into anything and when we moved to another place she was fine.It was just the 2 of us then & she was always right by me.The last year of her life she had cancer & I gave her medication which she got used to. I finally had to put her down because I could tell she was in pain. I will never forget my little friend!
