Daisy by Jessi

Daisy you were a dog we adopted from the local humane society. My Mommy got you in her arms and carried you to the car. I was so excited. And you were so pretty. We didn’t know at the time how much of a part of our family you would be. I was 4 yrs old And you were 4 yrs old. You immediately took on the role of my protector and guardian. It was as if you were meant to be my dog all the time. When I played in my sand box you layed right by my side. No matter how hot you got you didn’t leave me. When I was in my swing you were right there. Sometimes I had to get Mom to move you out of the way so I wouldn’t hit you when I was swinging. You were so faithful to me that you went with me everyday to my bus stop even when you were getting old and had arthritis. Sometimes I know I didn’t give you the praise that you deserved. But I know you know how much I loved you. You were my faithful dog for 9 yrs. And I hope I can See you again some day. My Mommy had to carry you in her arms back to the humane society to end your suffering while I was at school. But Mommy kissed your cheek in my name as you went to sleep. I miss you Daisy.

Love always

Your Jessi.
