This is for my “little man” Nautica. We rescued him as a young feral kitten back in the summer of 99. At first you couldn’t go near him for he would hiss and jump at you! But before long he grew used to us and was eagerly awaiting for us when we walked through the door at night. He became very talkative when he wanted attention or food. He loved “stalking me” when I was on the phone for I have a habit of pacing back and forth. He would always accustom me on the couch or in bed. Naughty was well mannered and rarely ever jumped on tables or counters. I have had many pets throughout my life and as people in my position know sometimes one comes along that leaves a very special place in your heart.Nautica was funny playful and cuddly. He had come a long way from that fearsome little kitty we found on a boat. I loved him we all did.
Well January 2nd of 2001 we had a horrible housefire. We lost everything it burned down to the ground. No more photo albums baby bracelets or wedding pictures nothing. My husband my two daughters Aaliyah and Pieper me and our dog Zeppelin all managed to get out in time thank god! However my little guy Nauty was not so lucky. It’s hard when you lose so much to just mourn over one thing but as time wears on you begin to single things out in your mind. I wish I could of posted a picture of my little buddy in here but I have them no longer. So instead I’ve left a memory to him and everyone else that gets the chance to read this. I love you Nauty and I’m so very sorry you couldn’t be here right now. I only got to know you for a short while but you’ve made a lasting impression forever my friend. So wherever you are I wish you peace strings and all the catnip you can handle.
I love you Mommy @}-}–
Goodbye.
