You were alway there to relieve the stress.
You made me want to go on when my life was a mess.
When mornings came with a wish to quit the human race.
The two of you would come to the bed and lick my face.
When I’d start to believe I’d never again feel joy
I’d just look at your faces my girl and my boy
And I’d realize all I needed to make life worthwhile
Was to have my Dobies – Like having a child
Now the two of you left me mother and son
But we’ll be back together when my life is done.
I’m here taking care of your daughter/sister right now
And all of the cats (They send a Meow).
So when the day comes and my life does end
I’ll be happy to see you and my other animal friends.
Though it has been rough since we had to part
