Spidey by Fred & Gail

For Spidey

I will never forget the day he got him name. He climbed up the side of a vacuum cleaner bag so fast he looked like Spiderman crawling up the side of a building. I called him Spidercat and it got shortened to Spidey as was the nickname for Spiderman. He had the longest tail of any cat I’ve ever seen. He was a great friend. He knew when things were not going great. He knew when we needed cheering up. I just wish I could’ve found out sooner that he was dying. He had a tumor on his jaw. We decided that he shouldn’t suffer anymore. We have another cat Bugs whom which my wife did not want to subject to seeing his half brother die or suffer anymore. He was a good boy to the end. I will miss him sleeping between my legs in winter sleeping under the covers and his weird way of meowing when dinner was being prepared. He was friendly to everyone that came into the house.

We will miss him terribly. We love you Spidey.
