We adopted Satsuma from the pound. We brought her home and noticed she wasn’t feeling well. When we took her to the vet he said she had distemper and was too sick to make it. We got our dog and lost her on the same day.
We had gotten Satsuma as a tribute to my father-in-law who was killed in a motorcycle accident a month ago. Instead of having something good come out of the bad now we have two losses to cope with.
Goodbye Satsuma. Although your time with us was brief we loved you nevertheless. I know we will all meet again someday.
