Teddy by Don & Betty

Teddy “bear” came to us on a hot summer day. He arrived on an American flight from Kansas City Missouri. He was soooo big. It didn’t take him long at all to become one of the family. As the years went on he became a friend companion playmate and confident. He followed mom and dad everywhere and was such a good boy. Mom used to put her sweatshirt on him in the winter because his jaw would shiver whenever he went outside. And when we asked him if he was cold he would shake a shiver like a person. He always had a big kiss for everyone and loved the kids. He would climb on the recliner full body over dad and lay there like a little child only he wasn’t little.

He was a protector and guardian of the family. He wouldn’t let anyone “hurt” each other. If dad would get close to mom and put his arms around her he would get in the middle of them to make sure he didn’t hurt her. If the kids would play rough he would bark until they stopped because he didn’t want anyone to get hurt. He will be missed by all of us but especially mom and dad. He was their “partner.” We will always remember you Teddy bear.

We love you.
