Lacey by Walter Rainey

My little wrinkle girl. For all the times I ran down the road calling your name, and then carried you home in my arms to make sure you made it home safe. For all the times I have bathed you. For all the times I have thrown a ball only to have you look as if to say, you threw it you go get it. For all the times I have rushed back into the house to make sure your water and food bowl was full. For all the times I have held the umbrella over your head so you wouldn’t get wet in the rain. For all the times I chased you
around the house for your entertainment.

For all the times I picked up your toys because you were to tired from playing. For all the times I put your blanket in the yard for you to lay out on. For all the times I was down and needed some one to love me, I say thank you for taking such wonderful care of me..

Forever in my heart,

Walter Rainey
