My Big Sister Sally I MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!

You have been with me my whole life since mom brought me home as a new part of the family. I grew up with you teaching me all the things a young dog should know. You even taught me how to open presents on Christmas. You were a couple of years older then me but we got along great, as I got older we even started to look alike everybody thought we were sisters, well in a way we were.

We went every were and did ever thing together. The years passed and your health started to get bad but you still watched over me and played with me when you could. One morning you woke up and you felt bad and I didn’t know what was wrong. I heard mom say that you needed to go to the doggy doctor. Mom and Dad took you the next day I stayed home and waited, when they came home I came out to see you but you didn’t look any better, they looked very sad I heard them tell some one that you had cancer. I didn’t know what that was but it must be bad because I saw daddy crying and so was mom. They said that they had some pills that should help you for now.

They started giving them to you and the next day you started to act more like your old self, and mom and dad took us camping and we took a walk in the woods, we always loved to do that. The rest of the week dad took us by by a lot and he would spend a lot of time with you. The middle of the week you started to feel bad again by the end of the week you started to not eat like you used to. Saturday I knew you were really feeling bad by night time you didn’t want anything to eat, even our nummies that we had every night.

You went and laid down in the bed room and I stayed by the door watching you though the night. The next morning I saw that you had gotten worse and I heard mom and dad talking about taking you to the vet. They asked you if wanted to go by by you didn’t look like you did but they helped you get up and go out side and I came to see you get in the truck. Dad had you on his lap, but he looked sad as they drove away.

I heard them come home so I ran out to see mom and dad were crying and dad was carrying you all wrapped in your blanket. He took you and laid you on our old couch in the garage. I was confused you looked different. I didn’t know what was going on. I went up to you but you didn’t look at me. Then dad got out his tools and some wood and started making something and I watched him he was still crying as he made a box then he put you in it and put you in the ground in the back yard.

Mom and dad were crying very hard. I wasn’t sure what had happened, but I knew I was now all alone for the first time in my life I didn’t have my sister with me. I was very sad. I laid in the back yard looking at were they had put you.

It has been a while and I still don’t like being alone. Mom and dad try to do a lot with me so I won’t be so sad,
but I really still miss you.

Always your sister Misty,
