My dear Mickey cat. I’m so sorry
I had to let you go. You lived until
you were 16 years old. I gave you
all my love and care your whole life.
You gave me yours.
I know you missed your big sister Minnie.
She was such a sweet girl.
She left us in the summer and you left us in the fall the same year.
You were my special angel boy.
You and I were as close as anyone
could be. I miss you. The house is
so empty and cold. I miss you drinking
out of the sink and you sitting on
my night stand. You are with Minnie,
by the beautiful tree out in our yard.
The autumn leaves were falling on
the day you left us. I almost wish
I could go with you, but that wouldn’t
be right.
Sleep in peace, my special boy. You were and always will be in our hearts. You were my life.
