Dear Sweet Pendon
My first pet, and what an amazing companion you were. You were a gift for Christmas from Dad. I had no idea rabbits could have so much personality and be filled with so much spunk. You endured living with us through so many milestones, but passed before being able to go
through the last.
My first apartment, getting engaged, getting married, moving to a house with lots of carpet so you could run around more, you survived us buying our first house too, but didn’t make it to see the first house. I think you were more of a country bunny anyway.
The cat and dog both miss you dearly. The dog stopped sleeping in the corner by your cage after you left. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye Pendon. I’m still not. I want you here and back with me. I don’t think you suffered much. I didn’t know you were sick until the final day. Which makes me think you deserved better care than
I could ever give you.
Thank you. For the gift of you, and all the memories you gave. Your heart was pure gold. I know you send me angel bunnies, and know that when I fed them, I wanted all the carrots to go to you. Rest well my dear sweet angel,
you deserve it.
