Mushka {Mushy} by Annette Amos / Your Den Mother and Brothers

I brought you home as a tiny bundle of silvery blue fur and two huge emerald green eyes in a sweet little face. You spoke through those eyes which gleamed like precious stones in the dark. Your favourite position was on your back with your paws in the air waiting for me to notice you wanted your tummy rubbed. My little tart.

You could not understand what was happening to you when you were so sick, but I hope you know just how desperately I fought to keep you and how bitter it was to let you go. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. Did you feel the love which surrounded you when I brought you home for the last time. How your pusscat brothers cuddled against you on my lap. How they cleaned your face and nuzzled you as you were held. They used to give you such a hard time but after you had gone to God they hunted through the house and called you in every room.

Thank you for the love and comfort you gave me over the years. For the fun and laughter I had with you. You were a very special little pusscat. So dearly loved and so deeply missed. My darling little Mushy.
