Arco our friend and partner for always. Arco began his duty as police service dog on July 26, 1995. He was always ready when dad said let’s go to work; he knew what it meant especially when the sirens would start. You could not ask for a more committed partner than that of Arco. Due to loosing his sight and hip problems Arco was retired December 31, 1999 and now it was time for him to stay home with mom.
He still wanted to go to work with dad and even more so when he would hear sirens but he knew when dad left he had to be there for mom and he always was. He was by myside until dad came home and then he was by both of our sides. When it was time we knew we had to let you go.
You no longer could get up on your own and your poor little heart had done all it could. I will never forget how you put your head in my lap, I knew you were telling me it was okay to say goodbye. My son you ended your service February 26, 2003 and now you can see and run after those tennis balls all you want.
