Misty by Amanda Terry / Mandy

My dog Misty was adopted in 1992 when I was eight years old, and she was one. After my parents’ divorce in 1994 she lived with my dad, Michael. I have been a part of her life for the last nine years. Now I am nineteen and faced with her loss. She was put to rest on August 12, 2003. She was a gentle soul who had become my heart. Misty never failed to cheer you up and sat quietly with you when you needed her, a calming and gentle presence. And now her gentle soul is with our Lord. She passed on just two hours ago. I can feel her and I tell her that I will always love her and that no one can ever replace her. I miss her,but it is just her body thtat is gone. Misty’s wonderful soul lingers on around us, and we will see her again.

I will always love you, my angel in heaven, my sweet baby,
Misty
