To Our Dear, Dear Buddy,
You entered our life and worked your way into our hearts — which didn’t take very long, by the way. You were the school “mascot” and were more well-known than any other kid’s pet around. Neighbors knew you, teachers knew you, and friends knew you. And, of course, it goes without saying, to know you was to love you.
Thank you for all the years of love, loyalty and acceptance you gave us, as you taught us what those qualities really mean. We hope you realize the legacy you have given us, and that we can carry it out in a way that befits only you.
