DJ was a wonderful boy who went through many rough times but always bounced happily along. He began having periodic seizures when he was five, major back problems twice in one year, and finally, diagnosed with diabetes which damaged his liver and other organs before it was discovered eight months before he died. His high pitched bark and puppy personality coined a nick name for him “my puppy”.
He was so patient and cautious toward strangers but loved the family around him. Though it has been over four years since his death, my heart aches every day, especially with the loss of his older brother back in April.
He enjoyed bones and treats. He almost always tried to bury his bones in the house so his older brother
could not find them.
I hope DJ and his brother, Dudley,
are truly together playing and waiting for me.
