Skippy was taken away almost 3 years ago. Skippy was my first Sheltie and my first dog. I got Skip when he was just 3 months old, bought him at a pet store, seemed he had been there for almost 3 months, with no one buying him, but all it took was one look for me, and I knew we were meant for each other. I spent all my savings just to leave with him that same day. He was the most loving and
caring dog I have ever known.
He was with me when I was going through some bad times. He was always there to make me smile. Everybody who met Skip, loved him. He had a wonderful personality and he gave so much, and just like all dogs it was unconditional love. His passing came on suddenly, very unexpectant to me and his Dad and sisters. Just the other day, his other sister, Shelby Lee Lee, went to be with Skip. They always ran together, and Skip taught Shelby all his little ways. Now they can play again together forever with no pain.
Skippy brought me more than I can write in this tribute, he also touched a man I fell in love with before his leaving us. Steven was there with me when we had to send Skip to heaven. He helped me so much through my pain, and helped in caring for Skip while he was sick. He also gave Skip a memorial in our home. I know Skip loved him very much and will one day see us both again. I know Skip is having fun with his sister, and I know he will be forever in my and Steven’s heart. Our memories are stopped moments in time, May God Keep You, Skip, and we will see you soon!!!
