We will always remember your beautiful eyes and smile. When you looked into our eyes, it was if you were saying “I love you too, Mom” or “I love you too, Dad”. And you were always smiling. You were such a happy boy. So full of energy and life, you enjoyed every minute.
You always welcomed us home from work, standing at the door, wagging your tail. We miss you being there when we open the door. When we woke up, you were always there, next to our bed, protecting us. You were always ready to go to your doggy park, always ready for a walk, always ready for a ride. Always looking forward to going to Grandma and Grandpa’s, going swimming and fishing in the lake, playing with all your toys, stealing things when we were eating our dinner, helping Mommy with her housework, helping Daddy working outside in the yard, watching squirrels from the window, napping on your chair in the dining room by the window, fetching your ball in the doggy park. These are just some of things you always did, there are so many more!!!!
Your toys all miss you biting them, Barney, Flip, Big Fat Duck, Elsie, Big Spot, and all the others too. Remember how you loved your bathtub? You were always ready for a bath!! Mommy made a scrapbook of you with lots of pictures and stories to go with them. I also painted a statue of you and a stone with a saying on it and we placed them under your favorite shade tree in your doggy park. We were so lucky to have you in our lives, we will treasure all the memories. Thanks Alex, for showing us what life is all about, happy times, happy memories, love, and being with each other, and all the other things you taught us.
You will always be with us……
We miss you and will always love you,
