Unconditional Love is what they give…
They are true to us for as long as they live.
Running through the woods, getting full of mud…
Arriving home with that look on their face,
that I so much love.
The years of joy that they bring…
Could never be replaced with anything.
That furry head, that shares my bed…
They lick your face, when tears are shed.
They cuddle close when you need it most.
They lift you up
when you’re feeling low…
You never have to ask…they just know.
They are always there… To be faithful to you,
to love you and to care…
You can count on them to always be near.
Our dogs are our dearest truest friends
that we will ever have…
In the end they will break our hearts and
leave us forever sad.
But the happiness that they gave,
is something that we will always have saved.
Inside our hearts, inside our souls,
their memory we will carry,
as we get old.
When we die, that is when our hearts will mend…
Because we will be reunited with our very best Friend..
Never ever being apart again.
