MOCHA

You came into our lives as an adult. We didn’t get to see you as a cute little puppy (although I know you must have been adorable), or see you have your first litter of puppies.

We didn’t get to enjoy any of that with you, but what we did share was absolutely wonderful. We wanted you so we adopted you when you were about 7-8 years old and became a major part of our lives. We took you with us everyone we could. You camped with us all over the southwest and got to see such sights as the Grand Canyon, Rio Grande, Mexico, Monument Valley, San Diego, Big Bear Lake, and many other national parks. You were always eager to go on car trips. You loved adventures as much as we did. That’s what made you such a wonderful part of our family. It didn’t seem to bother you that we were in a different hotel or campsite every night, as long as you with us you seemed happy.

I think one of the best times we all had was when we took you down to San Diego and took you to Dog Beach. You had such a blast. You and this little Jack Russell terrier chased each other up and down the beach when in turn made us human folks chase you both up and down the beach. It was a great day. You had such a blast but didn’t want to move for hours after we got back. We will never forget how you would bark your head off for a doorbell even
if it was on the TV or radio.

You loved to go to grandmas and play with her dogs. You had so much fun there, that you were never ready to come home. You would do anything for a doggie treat. You were the light of our lives and we are going to miss you more than you will ever know. We only shared 3-4 years with you before you went to doggie heaven. We knew that we wouldn’t have you here with us forever, but we tried to make
your last few years happy.

I hope we succeeded in making you as happy as you made us. Our home is not the same here without you, lonely and empty. You will be forever missed and loved, but I am glad that you are not in pain any longer and I think God that you are happy forever now. Thank you Mocha for three wonderful years.
You are forever in our hearts and memory.

Love you always, your family.
