Odie came into our lives and into our hearts in 1988. He was the best friend and most loving companion anyone could ask for. He was the ultimate “Toy Master”,
loving all his many stuffed toys. He had toys for every holiday. After Christmas he was watching me undecorate the tree and he methodically plucked all the little ornaments off his stuffed tree, too.
In the summer, he would play with water balloons, never breaking them, but very gently
carrying them around the yard. Odie acted as “big brother” to 4 kittens we adopted a few years ago. He was always so gentle with them even when they would
swing on his tail and pester him.
Odie had a smile that could melt your heart. He is truly my one “heart dog”. He is in my heart now and forever.
