We first crossed paths in the back of a car dealership. You were a wild kitty living with so many others. We trapped many of your kitty friends and took them to the shelter.
Some how I couldn’t leave you behind with them. So even though you were wild and tried to do nothing but climb the walls I took you home. I hid you in my room for a few days to slowly introduce you to our dogs. That way I knew my parents couldn’t object to letting me find you the perfect home. You and Rocky hit it off right away, you had found yourself another furry buddy. Little did I know you had also found that perfect home! I had always been a dog person until I got you. You were such a good cat. A cat with so many expressions, everyone could always tell what kind of mood you were in just by a quick glance.
Most of the time you just wanted to be a lap cat. Purring so loud you sounded as if you had a little motor in there. Then we got your kitty Salem who was to young to groom himself, so you’d pin him down and groom him. Such a patient loving cat you were. You almost never used your claws. Even when Kaylee came along, you would sit with her and
allow her to pet and kiss you.
This past month was hard on you and I’m so sorry about that. You got sick with that blockage and had a hard two weeks of recovery. Then to get sick from some kind of liver disease. I’m so sorry you had to go through that.
I’m sorry that I had to let go of you after only having 6 years with you. I know my Penny was there to greet you and take care of you. I know that your both waiting for me. You were truly a special cat and one that will be forever missed.
