My Sweet Millie,
We did not know each other very long, but I love you as if we were together for years. I am sorry that life was not good to you. I am sorry that the person who was your caretaker before me hurt you and killed your spirit. I wished and prayed for you to get better, and it hurts me that I had to let you go. I am sorry that you only were a part of our family for a few weeks toward the end of your life. Everytime I smell peanut butter, I will think of you,
your pretty eyes and your killer smile.
I pray that your next life will be full of fun, running in the grass, fetching sticks, and curling up on the sofa with a human who adores you, and realizes that you are special.
I adored you, Millie. I hoped you knew that everytime
I looked into your sad eyes.
With My Love Always,
| Millie |
