Zipper by Jen, Emily & Mike / Mommy, Daddy and Emily

We will miss you dear sweet zipper. Your spunky personality and your glowing green eyes against your jet black hair will forever remain in our memories. You have been our family member for fourteen years. No more begging for the last bit of milk in the cereal bowl. We won’t see you race to the door when we come home, or curl up at the foot of the bed or underneath the Christmas tree. You won’t be twisting and turning between our legs in the kitchen or jumping up into our laps while we read the paper or a book.

We had no idea that you were so ill. That the tumor under your tounge was why you couldn’t eat. We love you, and miss you terribly. There is a huge emptiness in our home. We hope that your suffering has ended. That now you are happy and fluffy again and full of energy and life.

You will live in our hearts forever,
Zipper
